手のひらに乗るような小さいモチーフを風景に見立て、大画面に引き延ばす油彩作品《Grandscape》シリーズを軸に制作している。現実には存在し得ないような色味や質感になっている一方で、山のようだったり湖のようだったり、ある特定の風景を模している部分もある。郷愁を感じさせる静謐な空間を、油彩の筆触だけに宿るリアリティや存在感と共に描き出す。抽象的なドローイング制作も行っており、絵画にしか表現できないことを探っている。
The main work is the oil painting "Grandscape" series, which uses small motifs that fit in the palm of your hand as a landscape and stretches them onto a large screen. While the colours and textures are such that they cannot exist in reality, there are also parts that imitate certain landscapes, such as mountains and lakes. Portraying a nostalgic and tranquil space with the material reality peculiar to oil painting; producing abstract drawings as well, to explore what can only be expressed in paintings.
Le cœur du travail est la série de peintures à l’huile « Grandscape », qui prend de petits motifs tenant dans la paume pour paysage et les déploie sur de grands formats. Si les couleurs et les matières semblent irréelles, certaines parties évoquent des paysages précis, montagnes ou lacs. Elle dépeint un espace silencieux et nostalgique avec la réalité matérielle propre à la peinture à l’huile, tout en réalisant des dessins abstraits pour explorer ce qui ne peut s’exprimer qu’en peinture.
